Proprieter Charles, a UK-based Aloe Vera Distributor, needed an eCommerce website to allow clients to make product orders online and pay via credit card.
Having manually distributed Aloe Vera products, venturing online via an eCommerce website was an opportunity to harness a 24-7 marketing medium, to reach out to clients across the globe and make sales online, in a bid to scale up business operations.
Verviant conceptualised and created an online prescence with simple clean interface, and intuitive navigation menus for easy location of products.
Even with few web skills, the client can easily update website content via a simple to use Content Management System.
The website also incorporates an eCommerce component that makes online purchase possible by website visitors. The website proprieter, can easily track online sales via the backend.
Fashiodektoptv needed a modern dynamic web prescence incorporating Online TV that would allow fashion shows to be watched on the website within 2 hours after each show.
With the higly popular New Zealand Fashion Week event much poublic interest, the new website was to create an online web touchpoint especially for the fashion-concious in order to increase market reach, and drive up online AD Revenues.

While Gloss core concepts encompassed the site’s overall product delivery, rapid member growth and changes in technology impeded Gloss’ service delivery to its customers.
According to the CEO, Blair Dods, “We were experiencing rapid growth from our initial infrastructure investment and we quickly had to find a way to meet our bottom line targets within a set time for maximum client satisfaction.”
Gloss needed to develop its system’s capability to sustain its user needs and avoid crashing during high traffic. It also had a host of new products and features to introduce to its clients.
Verviant carried out infrastructure optimisation by upgrdading MySQL and stabilising Apache at the backend to ensure optimal thoroughput of the website during navigation by website visitors. Verviant also set up a continual monitoring system to ease user overload on the server.
Our Design team made significant changes to website’s overall design by adding exciting features such as video, photo galleries, blog and social networking.
Further upgrades and optimisation to the system included: shopping cart, administrator, logon, and search engine functions.
The site has been able to incorporate community features that enable users to interact freely within the site and add to the Gloss Magazine community of users.

This is the ultimate site for the green-fingered. Garden-NZ is now the most popular garden website in New Zealand. It is both a shopping and information site where gardeners can find solutions to all their gardening needs.
The previous site had been done in Easy Publish which was an older CMS and did not support social networking. The site had become quite slow.
Verviant built a site powered by Joomla CMS which would add social networking features to the site as well as image and video galleries and an online credit card processing component for the eCommerce part of the site.
